Overview

  • SA series are developed for the full automation of substation and other monitoring & control system solution. To achieve this goal, the system architecture is focused on the integration of both traditional RTU for I/O and GATEWAY for IED as well as theirindividual functionality.

  • Protocol conversion is easily accessed for information exchange between multiple masters, IEDs, and RTUs. This functionality is not only for Data Concentrator, but Database Server through commercial DB.

  • Most popular protocols used in electric power system are supported as communication drivers.

  • Main processors have Linux as their operating system so that users can develop their own applications as in Application Server and Web-based solutions can be feasibly implemented through commercial Web Server, utilizing our various I/O modules as well as powerful CPU modules. For this purpose, we even provide the API's as libraries for value-added-resellers to access and control our I/O modules.

  • All processing modules are based on standard VME double height architecture and I/O terminal modules are separately installed.Therefore, the system configuration is flexible and maintenance is convenient. It is a very simple exchange of a module, just drawing out, with a new one to replace modules and the system expansion is at your fingertips.

  • The setting and configuration are also simple through our dedicated PC program, "RTUMan", which is familiar to Windows® users.Every module has its own RS232C console port and console commands for maintenance and bottom-to-top troubleshooting.
