PAC-P100: Feeder Protection & Control Unit
Feeder Protection and Control Unit, PAC-P100, is a digital relay intended for the management and primary protection of distribution feeders. It can also be used for the backup protection of busses and transformers. PAC-P100 includes the protection elements of instantaneous/time-delayed phase overcurrent, instantaneous/time-delayed ground overcurrent, selective ground overcurrent, phase undervoltage, phase overvoltage, instantaneous/time-delayed ground overvoltage, and cold load pickup. TC characteristics provide 4 IEC standard curves, 2 KEPCO's electromagnetic style curves, and 2 P&C style curves for UVR and OVR. Electric values are measured for 3 phase voltages, 3 phase currents, A/B/C phase measurements (voltage, current, apparent/active/reactive power), total measurements (3-pahse apparent/ active/ reactive power, frequency, power factor), and energy (kWh, kVARh, kVAh). PAC-P100 has event & fault recording functions and remote control function of circuit breaker through SCADA communication. EasyLogic of PAC-P100 has 16 configurable logic components and makes it easy to compose sequence logic internally without external hardware construction.

- Graphic LCD (240-128, 30 characters & 16 lines) for single line diagram, harmonics bar graph, and tree menu 6 indicating LEDs, 4 arrow keys, and 7 control/reset/menu keypad buttons.
- 1 RS232 port on front-face panel (correcting setting values, uploading events/fault data, and monitoring measured values) and 2 RS485 ports on rear-side (communicating with SCADA through DNP3.0 protocol).
- Self-diagnosis functions including supervisions of DC power, CPU/DSP and memory, Watchdog, settings range, A/D converter, analog input circuits and digital I/O circuits.
- EasyLogic for sequence logic composition using 16 configurable logic components. ØSelf-test functions including output contacts and display panel.
- Flash memory for adding new functions and upgrading S/W.
- Free selection of control source voltage (AC/DC.110~220V), 2 frequencies (50/60Hz).
- Auto-calibration for analog input parts. Security checking by password on settings correction and control.
